The Kitty Hawk Cafe Reviews |
Rating: 4 out of 5.
The Kitty Hawk Cafe, formerly known as Crosswinds, was reopened in February of 2012. I have eaten there only a few times even though my Cherokee is based here as Skagit (KBVS). This is mostly due to the fact that I like to fly-in to other restaurants because that's half the fun! That being said, The Kitty Hawk Cafe is an excellent stop for anyone flying around the San Juan's looking for a good meal. In our current struggling economy it's rare to find a restaurant that is actually located on the airfield these days. Luckily, The Kitty Hawk Cafe is one of those few and it is doing well. They have a good variety of food with breakfast served all day. Additionally they offer, free WiFi, a conference/banquet room, a full bar, and big screen TVs. They are open 7 days a week from 8am-4pm (9pm on Thurs-Sat), prices range from about $6-11 per plate, and their service is polite and friendly. Not to mention it's located at KBVS which is an excellent, newly resurfaced, training airport! Reviewed by Kyle Saraceni on 2014-11-10 |
