It's a bar & grill/sports bar type restaurant located on the airport in the airline terminal building and a very short walk from the FBO. The menu has good variety and all of the dishes my wife and I have had so far are good. We have had the Mexican dishes, sandwiches, burgers and wings. All good at a reasonable price and with good service. And the location cannot be beat for a fly-in meal as there's no need for a cab, begging to use a courtesy car or a walk through run down neighborhoods to get a meal. The hitch is that on our last visit, Atlantic Aviation (the FBO) charged us $50 to park on the ramp (a nearly deserted one I might add) for the brief period it took us to eat. They would've waived the fee if we bought 15 gallons of their $7 avgas but we'd topped off elsewhere and had no room for the gas. This soured the meal and we've not been back since. Zebra's GOOD. Atlantic Aviation BAD. Your $100 hamburger will cost you an extra $50 if you don't buy some expensive gas.

I was attracted here by Zebra's roadside billboards touting their hot wings (I'm a wing-nut) but never made it by there on road trips so I decided to fly there since Zebra's is on the field. The menu is typical sports bar fare; burgers, sandwiches, etc with wings being offered in order sizes from individual to institutional in three speeds plus an exotic flavor. I opted for the hottest (fire) and they were unremarkable in quality and flavor being only what you'd expect from a typical restaurant appetizer menu. I wonder how tame the lesser selections could have been? My wife had a Navajo taco which she enjoyed and I sampled. It was good and I'd have been better off going with that as well but, again, nothing extraordinary. The advertisements appear to give Zebra's (Ze Brassiere's?) a Hooter's knock-off image but the wait staff was nowhere near as attentive and, as with the traveling patron they serve, seemed to wish they were somewhere else. The restaurant is a very short walk from the GA ramp and FBO and is located in the air carrier terminal. Can't say it's worth dragging the plane out of the hangar for except that the journey outstripped the anticipated reward at the destination. Would I eat there again? I would, but only having made the trip for the trip's sake.
