Went into Taos today, looking forward to b'fast at Michaels which is a local favorite, and very good. They have a bakery, and very good mexican food, along with more traditional items.
When we got to the airport they wouldn't give us a car. Asked about rentig one. They said $25.00 FOR AN HOUR, OR $80.00 FOR THE DAY. I SAID WE DIDN'T NEED IT FOR THE DAY, BUT PROBABLY COULDN 'T MAKE IT TO TOWN, EAT, AND BE BACK IN AN HOUR. But those were the choices. I had never had a prolem there before. Usually they were very accomodating. I had mixed reviews from others about the FBO. Anyways, we went on over to Angel fire, and you can read about that under that airport identifier. That worked out very well, and will do that again, the next time I am in that area.
