Chuckwagon Cafe Reviews

Rating: 3 out of 5.
It's worth flying here because of the trip. My friend flew his RV9A and I took my Maule loaded up with collapsible bikes. It's a fairly flat mile walk to town so a very easy bike ride. The runway's good; the tiedown area has torn up spots. He was able to get out directly; I had to circle in the valley. We didn't check out the hot springs. Chuckwagon Cafe would like to close at 2. Across the street, which I'll try next time, is a Mexican restaurant open all day. I consider this a fun destination but don't take any passengers that might get upset by bumps. It was rough over KBLU on an otherwise very smooth day (a little going, very much so coming back).
