Borrow the courtesy car and make the 5 minute trip into downtown Hays. In the art district of town...who would think that in the middle of nowhere Kansas... and worth the flight. An eclectic menu with fare ranging from German to pad thai, burgers, steaks, chicken and so on. Haven't had a bad meal yet and we make the trip at least once a month. The brewery makes some great beers. Several national award winners and worth a try if you are a fan of micro brews. They keep their standards on tap all year and rotate with seasonals as the year goes on. Always a wide variety to satisfy your taste. We fill our 4 growlers when we go and they last several weeks until we can return for more great food and refills.

This is worth the drive downtown! First of all, this is about a ten minute drive into downtown Hays but if you can grab the courtesy car or get another ride it is worth it! LB or Liquid Bread is a local craft brewery that brews up some amazing beer! For the pilot I recommend getting a growler or two of beer to take home while enjoying the root beer with your meal. The menu is extensive and I haven't had anything bad yet!
