Bit of a longish walk. Took us about 25 mins each way and we walk a brisk pace of 4 mph. The food and service are good with the kind of menu you'd expect at a truck stop diner. The portions a little on the slender side (I think). The wife and I both had a burger & fries but it did also include a salad. We'll go back when the weather cools a bit.

Cool diner, more like 1 mile from the airport, but easily walkable on a nice day or you can borrow the crew car from the airport. I had enchiladas, the co-pilot/hubby had a burger and fries and we both thought the food was very good. Friendly service both at the diner and airport. It's worth a stop!

Neat '50s style diner, half mile walk from the Grants, NM, airport. Good food, big menu, friendly people. 6am-12 midnight, closed Monday. wowdiner.com
FBO at Grants (KGNT) is friendly too and has a courtesy car. If it's busy, word is the diner will come and pick you up if you call 575-287-3801.
