Windows on the Water at Lake Barkley Lodge is a nice place. Large and roomy with a somewhat above average buffet. Great scenery looking out over the lake. Call the lodge ahead of time to check if a shuttle is available, give yourself plenty of time as the shuttle response time can be as much as a half hour. If you leave late, you might be flying in the dark. Overall experience 3.5

Windows on the Water in Cadiz, Ky is the lodge restaurant. It is one of the most scenic and relaxing places I have been to. The food was excellent and the service was out of this world. It is cordial dining, quiet and relaxing. They close for an hour between breakfast and lunch and again between lunch and dinner so call first. The airport is unattended and rather primitive, so have a cell phone when you get there to call the lodge. 270-924-1131. The shuttle will pick you up. Weekend lunch buffet is excellent!

Lodge provides rides to and from the airport.

Ky state park with all the usual attractions: fishing, boating, golfing etc.
