This restaurant has flown under the radar for a couple of years, known until recently as Antonio’s, but now under new management. As I write this in mid-April 2020, Carmine’s is now open for take-out only during the coronavirus crisis. I haven’t visited since the change in name, but as Antonio’s, the pizza was very good. I believe they still answer the old Antonio’s pnone number (910) 579-0001. Carmine’s also runs another place nearby which gets very good reviews. Call ahead to verify hours. Note that there is outdoor seating but it’s temporarily off limits due to covid19, so be prepared to improvise. Reviewed by John Vance on 2020-04-18 |
