The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant Reviews |
Rating: 5 out of 5.
I can't believe I'm giving the first review of this fun WWII-themed restaurant. The restaurant is located on the southwest corner of the airport. There are often two gorgeous WACO YMFs parked outside giving rides when the weather is nice. Service is hit or miss (one great experience and one memorably poor), but the food is uncommonly good, you can listen to air traffic on the headsets included at every seat (tuned to tower), the view of air traffic is solid, and the thematic elements are destination-cool, including the driveway up to the restaurant, the building itself, which is modeled on a partially-bombed out french country house, numerous antique vehicles, and a realistic-looking replica of a P-51D out front.
