Voyager Village Grill Reviews

Rating: 5 out of 5.
Voyager Village airport is about as beautiful and scenic as you can get. It is a hidden jewel in the northwoods that you will not be disappointed in taking your time to fly to! The people are very friendly and welcoming. The Voyager Grill has extended its hours for breakfast, lunch or dinner and is open year round. The prime rib special on Saturday was absolutely mouthwatering! And then there is the golf course! Words cannot describe it.
Voyager Village Airport = Great Food, Great Fun and a Great Flying destination!

Voyager Village is an undiscovered treasure, near Siren WI (northwest WI). We recently heard about it through our flying club and flew out for an "I can't believe this" experience. After a 40' flight from the western Twin Cities, we found a pristine paved strip smack in the middle of a popular golf course; a few golf carts moved farther away from the runway on our approach. The main facility is right at the end of the runway. We got burgers at the Pub & Grill, eating in the gazebo, enjoying the view of golfers and our plane. We'll definitely fly out again, checking out the main Voyager Restaurant next time. The burgers were pretty standard fare (fine), but you can't beat the feeling that comes from being able to plunk down right at a nice place because of having a plane. Note that although this is listed as a private strip, the web site states that this is for insurance purposes; it's open to the public.
