La Pasada Reviews |
Rating: 4 out of 5.
Flew to Winslow to eat at the E&O but it was closed that day. The young man at the FBO recommended La Posada as an alternative. We opted to walk which was a little over a mile along lightly trafficked roads. The restaurant is located in an historic hotel of the same name and is somewhat upscale. The service and food were both very good. The menu is somewhat limited but varied with an emphasis on southwest dishes. My wife selected a crispy pork & green chili plate and I had a steak taco platter. Again, both were very good but the portions are rather small. In fact, we each had a dessert in addition to our meals which we almost never do. Commensurate to the upscale surrounds and menu are the prices. Not overly expensive but you're definitely paying for a little swank. I'd eat there again but I might explore the same street for other options if we don't get to eat at the E&O next trip. This place is great. Winslow has the last Lindbergh airport. LaPasada is in the old/restored Hotel A great place. Couple miles from airport. You should call first to make arrangements for getting to the restaurant, or plan on a walk. Reviewed by Gary Standhart on 2009-02-23 |
