We flew in for breakfast. Bacon and eggs for me and pancakes for my son. Biscuit was outstanding and more food than we could eat. Friendly service and fellow pilots to talk with. Truely a gem for GA. Loved the short taxi into town. Reviewed by Todd Cavins on 2018-08-19 |

I have flown in here many times. It brings back the old days of flying. There isn't anything better then flying in here and taxiing up the street. The atmosphere is very friendly and people are always interested in the planes. I would call ahead for the runway conditions though. I have been in there in many types of planes but the DA-40 is the worst to get in and out because of the ground clearence and long wing span. Reviewed by Heath Gelvin on 2010-11-30 |

Most people don't believe me when I tell them we're going to taxi through a four-way stop in the middle of town. Granted there's hardly ever any car traffic on that road, but it's still cool to do. The restaurant is filled with famous aviation memorabilia, and the cafe is in the bottom of a B&B. Make sure the runway isn't squishy mud when you try to go, or else you may not make it out! Also, Beaumont is home to America's oldest Wooden water tower, bet you never saw one of those. You'll be stuffed after lunch/dinner, but trust me, you want to order a slice of cobbler (with a scoop of ice cream!!). Share it with a friend or take it with you to go, it's probably the best you'll ever try, no matter what flavor. Then when you leave, make sure to leave in style, there's hotel guests eagerly awaiting the view of your departure from their rooms!! Reviewed by Mike Wilkes on 2010-04-14 |

The restaurant isn't exactly on the airport, but you can taxi right into town about half a block away. The field was in fine condition for the C170 we were in, but short-legged planes should use caution and maybe call ahead for conditions. Reviewed by Scott Christ on 2007-09-15 |
