All time favorite $100 hamburger. So much to do beyond eating as well. Unfortunately the golf course is closed, but at least its a disc golf course now! There's a motel/lodge with waterfront/balcony rooms, cabins, a couple hiking trails, a "beach" on the lake, a swimming pool, tennis courts and of course, the restaurant. A very popular stop for pilots. Site also hosts annual EAA Sport Aviation Weekend, Carnard flyin, RC weekend etc. The weekend buffet is excellent! A lake for fishing/boating and a golf course for golfing. Reviewed by Earl E Schroeder on 2007-09-27 |
