Big Slide Brewery at Lake Placid (LKP) Rating: 4 out of 5. Very good food and atmosphere. Prices are steep. Dogs OK for outdoor seating. We arrived later than we'd planned and hit dinner rush (during leaf-peeping season), so they were extremely busy. They do a call-ahead, and we wish we'd done so. Google Maps said a 0.3mi walk, which felt about right. Bring a flashlight if walking back in the dark, for visibility for oncoming traffic if nothing else.       Reviewed by Pat T on 2025-10-14
